Bangladesh NGOs Network for Radio and Communication (BNNRC) has recognised as Champions in UN World Summit on the Information Society (UN WSIS) Prizes 2017. BNNRC has been recognise for the Champions on account of its high standard of program to contribute in UN WSIS Action Line C-9 ( Media) and C4 (Capacity Building), Strong leadership in line with national and regional level and exceptional innovation of community media sector contributing towards voices for the voiceless rural people.

We are so grateful to 17 Community Radio Stations, 15 upcoming Community Radio Stations, Initiating Organisations, BNNRC Board of Trustees, Ministry of Information, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission(BTRC), Development Partners, Academia, Researchers, Media, CSOs, Staff Members of BNNRC, 1000 Youth and Youth Women Community Broadcasters, 6.18 million Community Radio listeners, Mentors and Well-Wishers and our family members.

We reiterate our further commitment to strive even harder to serve and create platform for the voices for the voiceless rural people through Community Electronic Media in Bangladesh.

Category: 4 (CAPACITY BUILDING)

ENGLISH LANGUAGE THROUGH COMMUNITY RADIO IN RURAL BANGLADESH. Project supported by American Center.
