The world Bank has been started a project to improve the data management systems and awareness raising for all including pedestrians, drivers, and owners for maintaining traffic rules.

The global trends and road safety-focused developments were combined to inform this plan. Several important themes emerged during the plan’s development which included the need for the ‘Safe System. GRSP and GHAI exclusively work toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The two goals that are directly linked to road safety are Target 3.6: the number of global deaths and injuries from road traffic accidents. Target 11.2: By 2030, provide access to safe, affordable, accessible and sustainable transport systems for all, improving road safety, notably by expanding public transport, with special attention to the needs of those in vulnerable situations, women, children, persons with disabilities and older persons.
