The Government of Bangladesh has developed Community Radio Installation, Broadcast and Operation Policy 2008. Based on the policy, now the Ministry of Information is working to develop a National Strategy Paper with the support of UNICEF.As part of the Strategy development process for Community Radio, a consultation meeting has been organized with the members of the civil society on 14 July at Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) 3 Circuit House Road, Dhaka 1000 from 10 AM to 1 PM.
The purpose of the meeting is to get inputs form the civil society to develop a national strategy on community radio for the Ministry of Information.
Mr. Abu Bakar Siddque, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Information will present as a chief guest.
