Workshop on BNNRC Strategic Plan: Shaping the Future of BNNRC in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution 2020- 2025| 10-13 October 2019 Dhaka| Bangladesh

Dhaka, October 12, 2019, A four-day long (10-13 October 2019) Workshop on strategic plan (2020-2025) of BNNRC for its future direction, in the era of Fourth Industrial Revolution has been started in Dhaka at YWCA Training Room, Mohammadpur, Dhaka.

The workshop was organized by Bangladesh NGOs Network for Radio and Communication (BNNRC) with the support from Free Press Unlimited, The Netherlands.

BNNRC Board of Trustee members, Mr. Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, Chairperson, Mr. Mirza Shahidul Islam Khaled, Vice-Chairperson, Mr. SM Nazer Hossain, Vice-Chairperson and Mr. Ziaul Ahsan, Treasurer attended in today’s the workshop and provided valuable speeches on our presentation.

Mr. AHM Bazlur Rahman, CEO, BNNRC welcomed the Board of Trustee members and highlighted the importance and need of Strategic Plan Workshop and briefed them about two-day program outcomes to the Honorable Trustee members. The moderator highlighted on Fourth Industrial Revolution and out-put of last two days.

All BNNRC Staff participated in the Workshop. Syed Tamjid Ur Rahman, Vice President– Bangladesh Center for Fourth Industrial Revolution, Ambassador Energy Globe and Vice President UN Global Compact Bangladesh and Syed Zain Al Mahmood, Journalist and Media Development Expert facilitates the sessions.

The main purpose of the workshop is to develop a framework for BNNRC, which will guide the management and staff for getting an appropriate strategic future direction of the organization.

BNNRC’s approach to media development is both knowledge-driven and context-sensitive, and it takes into account the challenges and opportunities created by the rapidly changing media environment in Bangladesh including community radio development giving voices for the voiceless from 2000.
