Considering the Coronavirus situation, and in response to the growing number of cases, with more than 90,000 people infected worldwide according to the World Health Organization, responsible measures need to be taken to prevent the virus from spreading.

With due regard to the safety and health concerns regarding the coronavirus outbreak, travel concern and other circumstances, the WSIS Forum 2020 cannot be held at the originally scheduled dates and will be postponed to 31st August to 4th September 2020. The International Telecommunication Union will enhance remote and video conferencing technologies encouraging WSIS stakeholders who are not already in Geneva to participate remotely.

Registration for the event is now closed and will re-open closer to the event. All confirmed registrations remain valid.
